Wednesday is a Brighton Based illustrator, designer and author.

Early in their career, they taught a Queer illustration tutorial for the Tate London, had their artwork exhibited by the V&A and at the Heller Gallery in New York.

Their main art project is based on instagram, where Wednesday shares artworks, photographs and writing about and for queer people to a global audience. Wednesday’s work seeks to provide education, empathy and kindness. Their art covers a range of topics such as TGNCI advocacy, mental health, recovery and community.

Wednesday has recieved worldwide recognition for their artistic contributions for the queer community online. In 2019, Instagram made a short documentary about Wednesday’s art practise which has 9.3 million views. The documentary gave Wednesday the visibility to talk about existing as a Non Binary Lesbian and the importance of community healing through art.

Wednesday was named by Out Magazine as one of the worlds top Queers to follow on instagram in 2019. Wednesday was also nominated by Queerty as “Game changer of 2020” and was honoured by Whalar as the face of ‘Advocates’ for their 2020 trends report. Wednesday was then asked to be a part of a documentary named ‘Soul of a Movement’ about the modern queer rights movement in the UK and Ireland. In 2023, Wednesday published their first adult book named ‘ You Deserve the Whole World’ along with some exciting key projects including a pride boot with Dr Martens and a pride collection with Brooks.

Wednesday is an experienced content creator. Wednesday has made content for Disney, Dell, Instagram, Facebook, Adobe, Unbound Babes,BBC body positive, BBC bitesize, Footlocker, BBC arts, AKT, Lunapads, Amazon music and more. Wednesday has created editorial art for clients such as Gucci: Chime for change, Diva grrlzine, npr, fruitcake magazine.  

Wednesday is also known for creating a wide scope of colourful and joyful merchandise.  Wednesday has experience in designing sex toys, t shirts, pins ,greetings cards, billboards, murals, and more for clients such as Youth to the people, Lazy oaf, Lucy and Yak,children of the revolution, j crew, grand matter, Allbirds,LGBT center NY, the Sad Ghost Club, Positive East, Everpress more.
